I'm currently working as a Network Engineer at ERI-Rwanda Ltd, while finishing my final year in Networks and Communication Systems at AUCA. Most of my time goes into the layer people never think about until it breaks: routing, switching, and keeping the wrong traffic out.
I currently work as a Network Engineer at ERI-Rwanda Ltd, and I'm in my final year of Networks and Communication Systems at AUCA — so most weeks are split between doing the job and finishing the degree for it. Both feed each other more than people expect.
What I actually enjoy is the hands-on side: building a lab from scratch, watching a VLAN misconfiguration finally click into place, or tightening a firewall rule until it does exactly what it should and nothing more. I've spent real hours in GNS3 building multi-tier topologies with inter-VLAN routing and HSRP, and I'm just as comfortable on enterprise firewalls as I am racking a TP-Link switch on-site.

I'm currently working full-time at ERI-Rwanda, but I take on freelance networking and infrastructure projects on the side — feel free to reach out.
